Stable Life

I am in a stable relationship.

My little farm is affectionately called Harmony Stable. Why “Harmony,” you ask?  It is named after the Elton John song of the same name with its metaphorical boat upon the sea of life, searching for the island of peace (or happiness or love or home…it’s open for interpretation).

Harmony Stable is my raison d’etre.  It is here that I am most happy because I get to live with horses.  I simply adore the gentle rythms of stable life.  My days are book-ended by horses, and horses often are every book and chapter in between.  Being in a relationship with a place and animals and insects (we can’t forget the honeybees!) is a very grounding experience.  Of all of my creative gifts to this world Harmony Stable is the most important.

I can’t help but write about life at Harmony Stable.  I have learned so much in my time here.  I can’t wait to introduce you.
